Triumph Utility — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 01 October 2026
Triumph Utility is an internal tool for Triumph Electrical Supply staff. It connects
a user's browser directly to their own Cin7 Core account.
What it stores, and where
Everything below is held in local browser storage on the user's own computer.
None of it is sent to the developer, and there is no account, login or server
belonging to this extension.
| Stored | Why |
|---|---|
| Cin7 Core Account ID and Application Key | To authenticate requests to the user's own Cin7 account. Entered by the user; write-only in the interface, never displayed again. |
| A local copy of the sale list | Cin7's API cannot filter sales by order date, so the extension keeps a local index to search. Contains order numbers, customer names, dates, statuses and location ids. |
| A local cache of order records | So that opening a screen does not re-read every order from Cin7 one at a time. Contains the order detail already visible in Cin7 — lines, quantities, values, shipping address and notes. Capped, and entries are dropped when the order is no longer in the index. |
| Cached map coordinates | Delivery addresses already geocoded, so each address is looked up once. |
| Notes typed by the user | Free-text cutting instructions, kept per order. |
| A log of changes the extension made | Order number, SKU, lot number and result for each pick it wrote, for traceability. |
| Settings | Poll interval, feature toggles. |
Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.
Where data is sent
Cin7 Core (inventory.dearsystems.com) — the user's own account. The extension
reads sales, products, stock availability and locations, and writes pick records, an
order attribute (the "To Be Programmed" flag) and stock adjustments (Reel
Management). This is the user's own data in their own system.
OpenStreetMap Nominatim (nominatim.openstreetmap.org) — the Deliveries map
sends a delivery address as text to convert it to map coordinates. No customer
name, order number, contact detail or any other field is sent; only the postal
address, and only for orders shown on the map. Results are cached so an address is
sent at most once. This feature is only used on the Deliveries screen.
OpenStreetMap tile servers (tile.openstreetmap.org) — map images. Standard web
requests for map tiles; no order or customer data is included.
The route suggestions on the Deliveries screen are computed on the machine, from
coordinates already obtained above. No routing or mapping service is contacted for
them, and no depot, order or address is sent anywhere to produce them.
Everything the extension stores — credentials, the local sale index, the order
cache, the geocoding cache — is held in chrome.storage.local, which stays on that computer. The
extension does not use chrome.storage.sync, so nothing is uploaded to a Google
account.
Nothing is sent anywhere else. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising,
and no data is sold, shared or transmitted to the developer.
